The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection is an official limited-edition GTA 6 Collector's Box containing physical merchandise and collectibles.
Rockstar announced the collection on September 24, 2026.
It is themed around Leonida, Vice City and Macca the Gator, a fictional character from the in-game television show The Goodtime State.
Despite being a premium GTA 6 collectible package, it is not a copy of Grand Theft Auto VI.
Rockstar explicitly states that the game is sold separately.
The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection costs $400 in the United States.
That price covers the physical Collector's Box and its included merchandise.
It does not include the Standard Edition, Ultimate Edition or another copy of GTA 6.
Players who want both the collection and the game therefore need to purchase GTA 6 separately.
Regional prices and availability can differ outside the United States.
No. Grand Theft Auto VI is not included.
Rockstar's announcement specifically says:
Grand Theft Auto VI game sold separately.
This is one of the most important details about the collection.
The $400 purchase is for the collectible merchandise package rather than a new edition of the game.
That also means the Goodtime State – Vice City Collection should not be confused with GTA 6's Standard or Ultimate Editions.
Rockstar lists 11 items inside the Collector's Box.
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Macca the Gator figure | 6-inch figure with a stash compartment |
| GTAVI Oakley Frogskins sunglasses | Matte black with Prizm Sapphire lenses |
| New Era snapback | 9FORTY A-Frame hat with Vice City and Leonida embellishments |
| Macca the Gator magnetic mirror | Macca-themed collectible mirror |
| Vice City swizzle spoon | Vice City collectible accessory |
| Vice City razor blade keychain | Vice City-themed keychain |
| Leonida Keys crossbody bag | Crossbody bag themed around the Leonida Keys |
| Chunkee the Manatee shot glass | Collectible glass featuring Chunkee the Manatee |
| Leonida Keys enamel pin set | Pin set packaged in a custom metal tin |
| Premium stickers | Sticker collection packaged in a stash bag |
| Double-sided souvenir poster | Poster showcasing the full Leonida landscape |
One of the centerpiece collectibles is a 6-inch Macca the Gator figure.
The figure includes a hidden stash compartment.
Macca is an in-universe television character associated with The Goodtime State, a fictional show within GTA 6's version of Leonida.
The character has already appeared in GTA 6 promotional material and is also connected to the Ultimate Edition's Goodtime Gear.
The collection includes a pair of official GTAVI Oakley Frogskins sunglasses.
Rockstar describes them as matte black Frogskins fitted with Prizm Sapphire lenses.
This makes the collection more than a box of Rockstar-only merchandise, since Oakley is one of the real-world brands collaborating on the set.
The glasses feature GTA 6 branding while using an established Oakley frame and lens design.
Also included is an official New Era 9FORTY A-Frame snapback hat.
The hat features Vice City and Leonida embellishments.
Like the Oakley collaboration, the New Era branding makes it a licensed real-world apparel item rather than only an in-universe prop.
The collection includes a double-sided souvenir poster showcasing the full Leonida landscape.
Rockstar's announcement does not describe it as a complete gameplay map with every road, icon or activity marked.
For that reason, it is safer to describe it as an official Leonida souvenir poster rather than confirmation of a traditional GTA map poster.
The item could still be especially interesting to fans because GTA 6 takes place across the wider state of Leonida rather than only Vice City.
Several items in the collection reference the Leonida Keys.
These include:
The Leonida Keys are one of the major locations Rockstar has officially revealed for GTA 6.
Jason Duval's official character background also connects him directly to the Keys.
The collection includes a Chunkee the Manatee shot glass.
Chunkee is another piece of the fictional culture Rockstar is building around Leonida.
The inclusion of fictional entertainment characters and local-style souvenirs makes the box feel more like merchandise bought inside GTA 6's world rather than a traditional game-logo-only collector package.
The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection arrives on November 19, 2026.
That is the same date Grand Theft Auto VI launches for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
However, buying the collection does not give the buyer access to the game.
A separate GTA 6 purchase is still required.
Yes. Rockstar says the collection is available for pre-order now while supplies last.
Because Rockstar describes it as an exclusive limited-edition Collector's Box, availability may be limited.
Rockstar has not stated in the announcement how many boxes are being produced.
Any specific production number circulating online should therefore not be treated as confirmed unless Rockstar publishes it.
It depends on what is meant by "Collector's Edition."
Rockstar officially calls the product an exclusive, limited-edition Collector's Box and a premium Grand Theft Auto VI collectible set.
It does not bundle the game.
So it is more accurate to call it the GTA 6 Goodtime State – Vice City Collection or Collector's Box rather than a traditional game Collector's Edition.
GTA 6's actual game editions remain separate products.
| Product | Includes GTA 6? | Main purpose |
|---|---|---|
| GTA 6 Standard Edition | Yes | Base game |
| GTA 6 Ultimate Edition | Yes | Base game plus Ultimate Edition content |
| Goodtime State – Vice City Collection | No | Physical collectibles and merchandise |
The Vice City Collection is therefore an additional merchandise purchase rather than a replacement for either game edition.
No.
There is no GTA 6 game disc in the Goodtime State – Vice City Collection.
There is also no game download code listed as part of the collection.
Rockstar says the game is sold separately.
Rockstar says more apparel and collectibles from the Grand Theft Auto VI Collection will arrive at the Rockstar Store soon.
That confirms a wider merchandise rollout.
However, Rockstar has not said that every object from the $400 Collector's Box will also be available individually.
Some items may remain exclusive to the box while other GTA 6 merchandise is sold separately.
Until individual product listings go live, that remains unknown.
Rockstar directs buyers to the Rockstar Store for pre-orders.
The company also says details about pre-ordering the collection across the following regions will come later:
Availability and pricing may therefore vary depending on country.
The name comes from The Goodtime State, an in-universe television show featuring Macca the Gator.
Rockstar has already used Macca in GTA 6 promotional material.
The game's Ultimate Edition also includes Goodtime Gear, described as apparel and accessories inspired by the show's character.
The Collector's Box expands that fictional brand into real-world merchandise.
It is a limited-edition physical Collector's Box containing 11 GTA 6-themed collectibles and merchandise items.
The U.S. price is $400.
No.
Grand Theft Auto VI is sold separately.
Rockstar does not list a GTA 6 game code as part of the collection.
The company explicitly says the game is sold separately.
It arrives on November 19, 2026.

Rockstar says pre-orders are open through the Rockstar Store while supplies last.
It includes a Macca the Gator figure, Oakley Frogskins sunglasses, New Era hat, magnetic mirror, swizzle spoon, razor blade keychain, Leonida Keys crossbody bag, shot glass, enamel pins, stickers and a double-sided Leonida poster.
It includes a double-sided souvenir poster showcasing the full Leonida landscape.
Rockstar does not describe the item as a complete gameplay map.
Rockstar calls it a limited-edition Collector's Box and collectible set.
Because GTA 6 itself is sold separately, it is more accurate to treat it as a premium merchandise collection rather than another game edition.
Yes.
Rockstar describes it as exclusive and limited edition and says it is available while supplies last.
Yes.
Rockstar says more GTA 6 apparel and collectibles are coming to the Rockstar Store.
The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection turns GTA 6's fictional Leonida culture into a real-world merchandise package.
Instead of centering only on the GTA VI logo, Rockstar built much of the set around Macca the Gator, the Leonida Keys and souvenir-style objects that could plausibly exist inside Vice City itself.
The most important purchasing detail remains the same: the $400 Collector's Box does not include Grand Theft Auto VI.
Players who want the game on November 19 still need to buy the Standard or Ultimate Edition separately.
Rockstar says additional GTA 6 apparel and collectibles will arrive at the Rockstar Store soon.
