Jason and Lucia can train at gyms, including strength and cardio activities. Exercise improves relevant attributes and can visibly change each character's body over time. Food and inactivity can also affect their build.
The in-game phone includes fitness tracking, suggesting that workouts are tied to longer-term progression rather than serving as a one-off animation. Strength work supports health, cardio supports stamina, and other activities can contribute to Focus.
Backyard fighting appears alongside formal exercise. The footage does not yet establish whether these fights form a complete league, a side-story chain, or scattered challenges.
Basketball courts appear as active social spaces, and the Extended Look presents basketball as a playable activity. Rockstar has not detailed the controls, competitive formats, or whether both protagonists can participate together.
Shooting challenges also return as a way to practice combat skills. GTA 6 uses manual aiming with aim assistance, target feedback, and a Focus ability that highlights useful weak points. A shooting range could therefore serve as both a score challenge and a tutorial for the revised combat model.
Water activities are a major part of GTA 6. Leonida's coastline, islands, wetlands, rivers, and marinas support fishing, kayaking, jet skis, airboats, conventional boats, and scuba diving.
Scuba equipment uses a limited oxygen supply, giving underwater exploration a resource to manage. The footage shows fish, dolphins, rays, and manatees, while the wider state includes alligators, birds, deer, hogs, and other wildlife.
Fishing may carry some of the slower observational appeal found in Red Dead Redemption 2. Rockstar has not confirmed whether catches can be sold, cooked, collected, or used in challenges.
Planes, helicopters, and parachuting are all shown. Airports and private aviation locations suggest that flight will connect multiple parts of Leonida, while parachuting creates both traversal and challenge possibilities.
The Extended Look does not confirm how early aircraft become available or whether flight schools return. It does establish that the playable world supports activity above the city as well as on roads and water.
Vice City contains bars, clubs, house parties, and music-industry locations. Jason and Lucia can dance, drink, meet contacts, and visit recording studios connected to Leonida's music scene.
The protagonists can also spend time together outside missions. Dates, shopping, driving, exercising, and general exploration can strengthen their relationship. Romance is optional, so players can treat Jason and Lucia as a couple or focus more heavily on their criminal partnership.
At home, the player can choose food and drinks, change clothes, watch television, sit on furniture, adjust lights, and interact with the safehouse. These ordinary actions help connect the major robberies to daily life.
The phone is a physical object held by the active character instead of appearing only as a flat overlay. Its apps support messages, payments, photography, fitness, ride services, vehicle delivery, and social feeds.
Social posts can point players toward events, people, and locations in Leonida. Scrolling is therefore both satire and exploration. The camera app also supports photographing the world, although Rockstar has not announced a formal photo challenge mode.
Jason and Lucia can interact with domestic animals, including petting dogs and cats. Wildlife can be studied in its natural habitat, echoing the observational systems Rockstar built for Red Dead Redemption 2.
