Rockstar's official People and Places guide supplies the principal biographies. The later GTA VI Extended Look names additional people encountered during missions.
Jason Duval is one of GTA 6's two playable protagonists. He grew up around criminals and con artists before joining the Army in an attempt to leave his troubled teenage years behind. By the beginning of GTA VI, he is living in the Leonida Keys and working for local drug runners.
Brian Heder lets Jason stay at one of his properties in exchange for helping with local shakedowns. Rockstar describes Jason's meeting with Lucia as something that could become either the best or worst thing to happen to him. Their partnership becomes central when a robbery goes wrong and pulls them into a conspiracy spanning Leonida.
Lucia Caminos is GTA 6's other playable protagonist. Her father taught her to fight when she was young, and fighting for her family eventually landed her in Leonida Penitentiary. Rockstar says luck helped secure her release.
Lucia wants the better life her mother imagined after their earlier years in Liberty City. Unlike Jason's desire for an easier existence, Lucia is presented as a deliberate planner who intends to change her circumstances. Rockstar's story summary says she and Jason must rely on one another to survive the criminal conspiracy surrounding them.
Cal Hampton is Jason's friend and a fellow associate of Brian Heder. Cal spends his time at home monitoring Coast Guard communications, browsing conspiracy material and drinking beer.
His official profile presents him as comfortable on the margins of society, while Jason wants something more. That contrast makes Cal a direct connection between Jason's current life in the Keys and the larger plans that move him toward Vice City.
Brian Heder is an experienced drug runner operating from a boatyard in the Leonida Keys. Rockstar describes him as a survivor from an earlier era of smuggling who now prefers other people to perform his dangerous work.
Brian is Jason's employer and landlord. He allows Jason to live at one of his properties as long as Jason assists with shakedowns. Brian continues moving product through the boatyard with his third wife, Lori.
Boobie Ike is a Vice City street figure who turned criminal money into a legitimate business empire. His interests include real estate, a strip club and a recording studio.
Boobie's most important partnership is with Dre'Quan Priest through Only Raw Records. The label still needs a major hit, placing Boobie at the point where Vice City's street economy, nightlife and music industry meet. The Extended Look also shows Jason and Lucia collecting a package connected to him.
Dre'Quan Priest is an aspiring music mogul focused on making Only Raw Records successful. Rockstar says he sold drugs to support himself, but music was always his real objective.
Dre'Quan previously booked performers into Boobie's club. After signing Real Dimez, he is trying to move beyond that role and establish the label within Vice City's music scene.
Bae-Luxe and Roxy are the two members of the rap duo Real Dimez. They have been friends since high school and used social media, music and their experiences on the street to build an audience.
An earlier collaboration with local rapper DWNPLY gave the duo a hit. Five years later, Real Dimez are signed to Only Raw Records and trying to repeat that success. Rockstar profiles them together, but Bae-Luxe and Roxy are two separately named characters.
Raul Bautista is an experienced professional bank robber. He uses confidence and charm to recruit people prepared to accept large risks for large rewards.
Rockstar also describes Raul as reckless. His jobs continually raise the stakes, creating pressure on his crew to either commit more deeply or walk away. That makes him the clearest confirmed connection to organized, high-value robberies beyond Jason and Lucia's smaller early jobs.
Lori is Brian Heder's third wife and is associated with his Leonida Keys operation. Rockstar names her in Brian's official biography, which says the couple continue moving product through his boatyard.
Rockstar has not published a separate character profile for Lori or explained how directly she participates in Brian's business.
DWNPLY is a local rapper connected to Real Dimez. His collaboration with Bae-Luxe and Roxy produced the early hit that first raised the duo's profile.
No standalone Rockstar biography has been released for DWNPLY. His confirmed role currently comes from the official Real Dimez profile.
Raymond oversees a drug operation that Jason and Lucia visit while collecting a package for Boobie Ike. The Extended Look introduces him during a mission that changes when law enforcement raids the building.
Raymond is part of the chain connecting Boobie to the criminal work undertaken by Jason and Lucia. Rockstar has not provided a separate biography or surname.
Ernesto, known as Nesto, is Raymond's contact. He calls with a warning that a task force is preparing to raid the drug operation.
That warning gives the characters time to react but does not prevent the operation from collapsing into a police escape. Rockstar has not revealed Nesto's wider position within the organization.
Mendez is a task-force officer encountered during the raid on Raymond's operation. Jason and Lucia recognize him while trying to escape.
The recognition suggests a prior connection, but Rockstar has not explained its history. Anything beyond Mendez's presence in the raid and the protagonists' reaction remains unconfirmed.
Valentina is a returning character from GTA Online who meets Jason and Lucia at the airport. She introduces them to Andrés de León, beginning the Extended Look's Megamundo sequence.
Her appearance creates a direct character connection between GTA Online and GTA VI's story. Rockstar has not said whether other GTA Online characters will return or whether Valentina has a larger role.
Andrés de León is a wealthy figure associated with Megamundo. Jason and Lucia are hired to escort and protect him during a corporate celebration in Vice City.
The assignment moves the protagonists from a drug raid into the world of corporate wealth and private security. Rockstar has not published a standalone biography explaining Andrés's precise title or longer-term importance.
Petra Navarro is a senior Megamundo executive involved in the company's Vice City headquarters celebration. She appears during the corporate assignment connected to Andrés de León.
